Jemma has had a lifetime of involvement in Working Spaniels. She is the current Chairman of The Spaniel Club the “Parent’ Spaniel Club of the UK, organising up to four Field Trials every year.
At home Jemma runs her dogs in the beating and picking up lines on a regular basis, alongside her partner gamekeeper.
Professionally she is the Owner Director of Brindley Rural, a Marketing and Communications business (link). She brings a wealth of experience in membership organisations, partnerships and sponsorships but also in the field of conservation management having worked closely with The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust for over 6 years and counting.

Liam Mulcrow

Liam is the founder of some active Facebook Groups that he has managed for over ten years: Spaniel Trialling Results and Stats, Spaniel Trials and Updates to name a couple.
He has been responsible for charity fundraising within the Gundog community to date raising over £60,000.
Liam along with his army of helpers have provided a dedicated service to spaniel trialing in the UK just for the love of it! He is a keen statistician, holder of data and has a passion for spaniels’ that shines through. A cornerstone of this new collaboration he is excited for what the future holds for the platform.
Core Aims and Principles
Conservation First
Whilst ‘Field Sport’ and all other associated names and variations of the phrase are fiercely protected by all of us Approaching what we do from a ‘Conservation’ standpoint will help to protect us into the future. We all need to be willing to educate ourselves and talk about working with dogs differently. We have nothing to hide – there is not a more sustainable way of putting food on the table than someone working their dog
True Community
We all carry responsibility and as a group we can create a shared voice. To do that we have to respect and guide one another for the future of the Working Spaniel. We will extend a warm welcome to those new to Working Spaniels without judgement.
Natural Ability
We are passionate about the continued promotion of working spaniels in the field, harnessing natural ability. We aim to provide detailed, accurate data on successful working dogs for the purposes of mate or puppy selection.
First in Line
Combining our experience and existing outreach to become the primary resource, news, and database for working spaniels in the UK, promoting activities relevant to their breed, and celebrating their achievements.
